PREVIEW...CD-ROM and SUBSCRIPTIONS

QUICK VERSION...WATER GARDENS...2

PLEASE NOTE...SOME OF THE WORDS IN THESE PREVIEW BOXES
HAVE BEEN DELETED FROM THE ORIGINAL TEXT ON THE CD-ROM. AND ARE SHOWN LIKE THIS...XXXXXXXXXXXX.

ALSO NOTE THAT MOST OF THE PICTURES ARE NOT IN THE SAME SEQUENCE AS THEY APPEAR ON THE CD-ROM. AND IN MOST CASES THEY DO NOT RELATE TO EACH OTHER IN THESE PREVIEWS.

Here's a close-up of the small "spring". It's very subtle and almost silent...that's because the water just runs over the rock and doesn't fall off it XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

Here again is the finished effect...very "Natural" and very importantly, without any sign of the construction methods!

I hope you've read everything so far...and in the correct order?
Otherwise you won't have a clue about what I'm about to show you in this section!
Here's two happy frogs and lots of snails. It's difficult to tell if a snail is happy...but they're alive and living in one of my wildlife pools so I suppose they must be.
So why am I showing you this? Well, firstly it's a nice picture, secondly it introduces the next example...which is a dry, in every meaning of the word...XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

This is a deep pool with no ledges just for fish...huge amounts of earth has to be removed because of the depth.
"Normal" fish really only need 24" of water depth...but check with your local Aquatic Dealer. Fish like these Koi require specialist pools which are up to 72" deep.

You will find masses more detail about all types of pools in various subjects in the Main Index...this chapter, don't forget is the Quick Version!

This is just a little glimpse of this project!
The small waterfall in the background is being fed by what I call a "Bubbly Rock" (full details via the Main Index..."Small to Medium Water Gardens"), what you do is find an interesting rock...drill a large hole through it, force a pipe into the hole from below, and connect the pump...it's a stand alone feature or as it is here, it's an addition to the main waterfall (which is out of picture).

Waterfalls...well they come next in their own section...because to get a "natural" waterfall to look really natural XXXXXXXXXXX, so it demands an extensive section of it's own.

So what else can I tell you about this picture that I haven't already...nothing really!
