STEPS...NATURAL and FORMAL

Steps can be simple or elaborate, NATURAL or FORMAL. These are being constructed using Formal bricks. My photographs will show you STEP-by-STEP how to build your own...

You will find ideas for all situations...like these very NATURAL STEPS that I built in a DISABLED PERSONS GARDEN...steps for the disabled I here you cry!!! Sorry, I'm deliberately misleading you, the steps are for the able bodied family members, the paths you see behind and in the foreground I designed for my client to get down to the Riverside in his wheelchair. All of these examples are on the large side...but you can create a still pond to any size really... a sort of "MINI MONET" you could say!

BUT...you have to get the design right first time to achieve the "Natural" environment that an artificial pond/lake needs to give you clear water. Otherwise your dream vision will quickly evaporate into a green smelly stagnant disaster!

All of the examples above use except for one of them! All are 100% Manmade and 100% designed to be convincingly Natural.
